The Show Me The Way Foundation (TSMTWF) was created to help save our children who have been negatively impacted by adverse childhood experiences such as gun violence, generational poverty, and systemic oppression.  Teaching them the necessary life skills to overcome social and environmental obstacles will allow them the opportunity to transition beyond their communities.  Learning when, where, and how to use their words and voices will give them the skills to affect changes once considered irreparable in their communities.

 

Since 2018, TSMTWF has utilized civic engagement as the primary tool to vitalize teaching these skills.  TSMTWF has created community partnerships and the "Village" needed to meet our participants at their level of need.  Through our youth and young adults mentoring programs and community events, our participants improve and learn the skills needed to change their neighborhoods, communities, and society. ​
